  32. How to Create Diskettes

  35. The general rule for creating diskettes from the images provided
  36. is to copy all the files and directories in the diskette sub-
  37. directories onto a clean, formatted 3.5" high-density diskette.

  39. Creating Diskettes with the Explorer
  40. ------------------------------------------------

  42. 1. To create diskettes, open the Windows Explorer. 
  43.   
  44. 2. Select the subdirectory, then highlight all of its files and
  45.    subdirectories and move them to the drive containing the
  46.    diskette.
  47.  
  48. 3. Label the diskette as noted in the section, "How to Label
  49.    Diskettes."

  51. Creating Diskettes From DOS:
  52. ----------------------------

  54. 1. Use the section above to determine the base directory for the
  55.    product you want to place on diskettes.

  57. 2. Each of the subdirectories below the base constitutes a
  58.    diskette. Change into the first subdirectory, then copy all of
  59.    its files and subdirectories into the diskette drive using the
  60.    DOS command:

  62.         C:\EXTRA\DISK1> XCOPY *.* <drive>: /S /E

  64. 3. Label the diskette as noted in the next section.

  89. About MS SNA Server Client
  90. --------------------------
  91. All products install from the first disk by running the setup
  92. executable with the exception of the MS SNA Server Client for
  93. 32-bit. This file is an executable that will 'unzip' itself
  94. into files and a directory. The executable should be placed in
  95. a temporary directory and then run with a -d parameter.  This
  96. will cause the files to be 'unzipped' and setup can then be run
  97. from the temporary directory.
